Jack Docherty is an actor, presenter, writer and producer. He first came to prominence on Friday Night Live and the cult comedy shows Absolutely and mr don and mr george. He also starred in The Strangerers, The Creatives and Start/Stop. He became the UK’s first 5-nights a week chat show host with The Jack Docherty Show and has presented documentaries on Scottish comedy, language, arts and the Edinburgh Festival. He is currently best known for his portrayal of Chief Commissioner Cameron Miekelson on the Bafta award winning Scot Squad.
