James is best known for his role in the hit BBC One sitcom Still Open All Hours and most recently the double BAFTA winning Almas Not Normal. He’s currently filming Waterloo Road where he plays deputy head Joe Casey.
He also has a comedy pilot in development with BBC and Tiger Aspect. He’s partial to fish and chips and has never been to Paris.
